SOLSTICE

LONGEST DAY OF THE YEAR

Tomorrow is the Summer solstice, big day in Interior Alaska....

We don't have "night" for a while already but this is when the day start to get shorter...

Actually the day stay the same for 2 or 3 days then we loose 1mn then later 2 then 5... until winter solstice....

   Depuis est la jour le plus long de l'année, une grande fête en Alaska.

Il ne fait plus "nuit" depuis longtemp et a Minuit ou 1hr du matin il faut des lunettes de soleil pour conduire. Pour nous cela signifie bientot le racourcissement des jours.

Les jours ne racourcissent pas tout de suite pendant 2 ou 3 jours on "stagne" et ensuite on perd 1mn puis doucement 2mn etc... jusuq'au Solstice d'hiver...
