Starting tonight I am working as a tour Guide/driver for a company in Anchorage who has a group of 9 French tourists. I’ll be back home July 28th.
I’ll be driving around the state of Alaska and the Yukon. We are going to the following places: Anchorage, Denali, Fairbanks, Delta, Kluane Lake, Haines, Skagway, Whitehorse, Dawson, Chicken, Tok, Glenallen, Valdez, Whittier, Alyeska and back to Anchorage…
I hope my camera will be ok, because since the raft trip it is acting very funny and sometimes refuse to work which makes me very mad and sad… some of you know how much I love my digital camera… It got somehow humid in the tent (even so it was in a seal box) and sometimes it just goes “crazy” on me…. So if my camera works I should have cool photos when I get back!
During the trip I’ll be driving a 9/10 person Van (I fear it will be a Ford Minivan!!) and a trailer! YES TRAILER… I practice my backing up! Well the good part it is Alaska and the Yukon so we have room!!!!! My friend Doug in Montana has a 20ft trailer and turns it around in a regular driveway! Let’s say I am FAR from doing this but I can back up, park and turn around! so…. Lets keep the finger crossed that all the ferry I will take will have one way in and an other way OUT!!!
I have to leave “baby boy” also known as Keops home with Jacques this is probably going to be the hardest for me… leave my little baby dog at home…

A partir de ce soir je travaille comme Guide touristique et Chauffeur pour une compagnie d’Anchorage qui reçoit un group de 9 Français (de l’agence Grand Nord Grand Large). Je rentre le 28 juillet.
Je vais conduire un mini van a travers l’Alaska et Yukon. Nous allons dans ces villes : Anchorage, Denali, Fairbanks, Delta, Kluane Lake, Haines, Skagway, Whitehorse, Dawson, Chicken, Tok, Glenallen, Valdez, Whittier, Alyeska et retour à Anchorage…
J’espère que mon appareil photo digital va bien fonctionner car depuis la descente en Raft j’ai des soucis. Des fois elle ne fonctionne plus du tout et ça m’énerve énormément et surtout ça me dégoûte, car certains d’entre vous savent combien je suis attaché a mon appareil digital. Bref elle a pris l’humidité pendant la descente en raft pourtant elle était bien dans une boite étanche… bref croisons les doigts et si tout va bien a mon retour je devrait avoir de belles images.
Pour ce tour je vais conduire un mini van de 9/10 personnes et tirer une remorque pour les baguages ! Oui une remorque… je me suis entraîner pour les marches arrières.. Et disons que HEUREUSEMENT que je reste en Alaska et au Yukon au moins y’a de la place ! Donc tout va bien se passer faut juste espérer que les deux ferry que je doit prendre avec ce Van et la remorque ont une entrée et une sortie ! Car je ne suis pas sure d’un demi tour dans un bateau !!!
Je vais devoir laisser Keops ici pendant 2 semaines et ça va être très dur pour moi…
