Keops and I arrvied last night in Lincoln with a snow storm to welcome us !!!

ARRIVED IN MONTANA

Arrivé au Montana

My friend Melanie e-mailed me this morning Jacques , his handler Nate and the 36 dogs arrived in Lincoln this morning.
She said they just got 1.5 ft of snow and she was busy showeling snow and the groomed didn't open trail yet and that she will open trails with her team today.. Oh and it was still snowing hard!!!

Mon amie Melanie m'a envoyée une e-mail ce matin, Jacques et son handler Nate et les 36 chiens venaient jsute d'arrivés au Montana.
Elle m'a aussi qu'il avait neigé 45cm, et qu'ils etaient occupés à déneiger et que la dameuse n'etait pas encore passée sur le spiste et qu'elle allait ouvrir la piste avec ces chiens... Il neigeait encore beaucoup ce matin....

Jacques left a message yesterday (dec 28th) at 8:30pm and he was already in Fort Nelson.
Worst part of the road is behind them now....
He should be in Lincoln dec 30th in hte morning I think if all goes well.
It is snowing in Lincoln and Seeley Lake....

Jacques avait laissé un message hier vers 20H30 et ils etaient à Fort Nelson(Colombie Britanique).
La partie la plus mauvaise de la route est maintenant finie.
Je pense qu'il sera demain matin (30 dec) à Lincoln si tout va bien.

Jacques left today around Noon with 36 dogs on his way to Lincoln Montana.
He should get there in 3 days or so.

Jacques est parti a midi pour le Montana, il avait 36 chiens dans le camion.
Il devrait arrivé a Lincoln au Montana d'ici 3 jours.

BEST YEARLINGS

Less than a month before the first race (Seeley Lake Stage Race).
Some yearlings stand out more than others...
SNEFRU : well runs in lead and drive like crazy WHAT ELSE TO SAY ??? Outstanding , perfect feet.... He is Memphis's baby of course.... The dad is Scooby.
CIPHER: hard worker... fast, fast !!!! her mom is Shamir she is now own by K.Barnum in MT, the dad is Argos
REDOC: big but men that dog can move, trot, loap he doesn't care and always always pulling.... (he is Cipher's brother)
ZOSER: Snefru brother, Crazy like his mom!! chews, jump, he is a royal pain but works hard!!!! Oh and he has a personnality only his mom could had give him!!!
CAST: an other one of that litter of Cipher and Redoc.... very good, honest, fast....
Now one month to go and about a week before the dogs travel to Montana... I espect those young dogs in the truck of coure with the other nice yearlings: Salmon, Kiltik, Omar, Tiger, Skid....

Moins d'un mois avant la première course (Seeley Lake au Montana).
Certains des jeunes (chiens nés été 2006) sont excellents:
SNEFRU: court en tête, a une attitude hors du commun et en veux grave! quoi dire de plus.... c'est le fils de Memphis biensure et le père est Scooby.
CIPHER: travail dur, super rapide.... fille de Shalir (qui est maintenant chez Kirk au Montana) et le père est Argos.
REDOC: frère de Cipher, très gros (plus de 25kg) mais super travailleur, rapide....
ZOSER: frère de Snefru ! fou completement fou, mange les ligne, saute tout le temp et a une attitude digne de sa mère !!!
CAST: un autre de la portée de Redoc et Cipher, super bon, travail bien.... rapide...
Dans une semaine environ Jacques partira vers le Montane et ces jeunes sernt dans le camion avec biensure d'autres jeunes qui sont bons: Salmon, Kiltik, Omar, Tiger, Skid...
