Caribou hunting up North		Chasse aux Caribou
Tomorow I am heading with my friend Sarka and her two daughters (Cassidy 3 and Lucy 2) to the North of the Brooks Range where we are going to go Caribou hunting. Her husband Goerge is in way today up there to set camp before we arrive. Hunting regulations do not allow to hunt within a 5 miles corridor on both side of the Dalton Highway. No motor vehicule can be used also. So we take small dog team there to carry gears and supplies, we hunt by foot and go get the dogs to carry back the Caribou. We are allowed 2 caribou per person. I am taking 5 dogs : Smallet, Loly, Chipo, Hector and Kitlik. We are going close to the Sagwon DOT station... below there is a link for a web cam at the DOT Station. Also I'll put a weather link but it is for Deadhorse which way up north from where we will be. It should be a 12hr drive from Fairbanks we have to go over Atigun Pass and we start in a area where the Sag river is close to the Highway. I hope I'll have nice photos when I come back (monday evening) and also some meat.		Demain je part pour la chasse au Caribou au Nord de la chaine de Brooks. Je part avec mon amie Sarka et ces deux filles (Cassisy 3 ans et Lucy 2 ans). Son mari Goerge est parti aujourd'hui pour organizer le camp avant notre arrivée. La régulation de la chasse n'authorize pas de chasse dans un couloir de 7km de chasse coté de la route. Et pas d'engin a moteur. Donc nous prenons des petits attelages de chien pour trnasporter le matos et la bouffe. Nous avons le droit de tuer 2 caribou par personne. Je prend 5 chiens : Smallet, Loly, Chipo, Hector et Kitlik Nous allons près de la sation de maintien de la route a Sagwon, il a une "webcam" et si cessous un lien pour allez voir la vue du coin. Je met aussi un lien pour la météo de la region mais se sont des données prisent a Deadhorse plsu au nord que où nous seront. C'est a environ 12hr de route de Fairbanks. Et nous devons passé le fameux col de Atigun.... et nous partons d'un petit parking au bord de la route là ou la rivière Sag est proche. J'espere avoir de belles photos a mmon retour (lunid soir) et aussi de la viande a mettre dans le congélo !!!
