SNOW STORM-- TEMPETE DE NEIGE

Neige et vent

Yesterday (wednesday) we had a major snow storm going through the Fairbanks area....
I think we have like 8 inch or new snow here (which is a lot for Fairbanks).
Jacques started the Skidoo yesterday and packed the trails and various turn arounds....
More snow (not a lot so) is in the forecast and temperature dropping also...

Hier grosse tempete de neige dans la region de Fairbanks.
A peu pres 20cm de neige, ce qui est beaucoup pour Fairbanks.
Jacques a démarré le Skidoo et a dammer la pistes et les differents demi tours....
La météo annonce encore de la neige et les temperatures devraient commencer a descendre...

So here are the names of the 3 males from Memphis, I choose their name from Ancient Egypt mythologie god names...
GEB (god of Earth)
SOBEK (god representing the Myth of the Pharao.)
HAPY (Egyptian god of the Nile flood)

Voila j'ai choisit les noms pour les 3 males de Memphis.... Biensure des noms liés a la myhtologie Egyptienne !!!
GEB (dieux de la terre)
SOBEK (dieux representant le mythe des Pharaons)
HAPY (dieux des crues du Nile)

THE LAST LECTURE
I got this book not really knowing what it was about... I knew the main stream... great professor with cancer giving his last lecture....
Randy Pausch wrote an amazing book... super computer science and virtual really professor he write about is life and his vision about...
He writes about his childhood, students, family and his 3 little kids... His vision/philosophy about life is just amazing...
you should read this book ! it is amazing...
Randy died July 25th ....

LA DERNIERE LECTURE
Ce lire n'est pas encore dispo en français .. mais si vous lize l'anglais IL FAUT LE LIRE...
Randy Pausch est (etait) un grand professeur de realitée virtuelle et ordinateur..
Quand ils apprit qu'il n'avit plus que 6 mois a vivre il a ecris ce livre.... sur ca vie, son enfance, ses eleves, sa famille...
Sa vision et philosophie de la vie est une SUPER LESSON...
IMPRESIONNANT !!! A LIRE
Il est mort le 25 juillet dernier.

GLACIER SEASON IS OVER

Yesterday was the last day of dog tour in Skagway.
Jacques called this afternoon and he is on his way back home.
He should get here tomorrow afternon.

Hier était le dernier jours de tours à Skagway.
Jacques à appelé cet après midi et partait de Skagway.
Ile devrait etre de retour au chenil demain après midi.

PUPPIES HAVE NAMES
Finally they have names

Les chiots ont des noms!!!
|
My mind been busy with other things I never got to name the pups yet !!!
So this done !
Janet pups are names after Big rivers:
For the females : AMOUR -- AMAZON -- MISSISSIPPI (we will call her Missi) -- LENA
For the males : NILE and YANGTZE (we will call him Yang)
Jewel pups are named after Mountains ranges
Females : BROOKS and ANDES
Males : ALPS ans HIMALAYAS (we will call him HIMA)
Cipher pups are named after Pasta !!!
Orzo for the male and Ziti for the female!!!
We still have one litter to come Memphis X Argos .. the Breeding Konga X Ty didn't take!

Trip to Manley
Visit at the Redington Kennel

Visite chez Pam et Joee
|
Yesterday I drove out and back to Manley to bring Konga to be bred by Ty.
She got bred right away... I spend couple hours visiting with Pam and Joee and head back here to take care of the dogs....
|
|
Hier j'ai fai l'aller retour dans la journée à Manlay pour ammener Konga pour la croiser avec Ty.
Elle a été saillie immediatement.... Je suis rester discuter un peu avec Pam et Joee et je suis rentre pour m'occuper des chiens.....
